Peace and Diversity
The Peace and Diversity Program is a continuation of the Peace and Reconciliation program implemented since 2000, which integrates lessons and experience over the years, in order to further improve the importance, efficiency, impact and sustainability of Caritas Kosova's activities in the Region of Mitrovica. The program is focused on building a diverse and prosperous society by promoting peace and social diversity, and providing better economic opportunities for the needy community. More specifically, P&D empowers and raises the capacity of small and medium-sized businesses and the workforce coming from the various communities living in Mitrovica, through economic development, employment, and social and educational activities. The activities are designed to strengthen the capacity of beneficiaries, foster interethnic dialogue, and are implemented in collaboration with local actors and authorities.
