ACTIVE
Accessible Communication Towards Inclusion of Vulnerable and Excluded persons in Western Balkans
ACTIVE - Accessible Communication Towards Inclusion of Vulnerable and Excluded persons in Western Balkan is a project implemented by Caritas Kosova.
Understanding the meaning of Accessible Communication is very crucial. Accessible communication is about responding to the fact that people have different communication needs, and developing product and materials accordingly, ensuring as many people as possible have adequate access.
The aim of the project is to develop the concept of inclusive and accessible communication for disadvantaged people. People that will benefit from this project are; people with disabilities, learning difficulties, mental illness, people who are educationally disadvantaged, minority groups, older people, migrants, etc.
This regional project, apart from Kosovo, is also implemented in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.
Project is supported by: RENOVABIS and Caritas Austria
